Unitarian Universalists have been called “the love people”—whether it is when we are holding our “Side with Love” banners on a march, (re)centering voices of those folx who are not often heard in and outside our faith tradition, or continuing to center Love itself as a central value. Join us for a service that asks, ‘What kind of love are you called to believe in, beloved(s)?’ A “nonviolent love [that] is spontaneous, unselfish, and creative” (King Center)? A “love [that] is an act of will—namely, both an intention and an action” (bell hooks)? Or is it something else?
