Members of the GBIO Team will share updates and insight from their important work, showing one way in which Unitarian Universalism can be a blessing in the world.
First Parish is a proud member of the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO), a broad-based group that works for the public good by coalescing, training, and organizing people across religious, racial, ethnic, class, and neighborhood lines. Our service on June 12 will explore the current areas of GBIO’s priorities, namely mental health, housing and incarcerated individuals re-entering free society. Maria Altamore, Juliette Cusick and Patrick Sullivan will tell you about their personal experiences and work on these issues.
