The congregation delegates authority to manage the work and resources of First Parish to its governing board except for those actions it expressly reserves to itself. Seven elected board members are joined by its past chair, the Lead Minister, and the Director of Administration in planning, allocating resources, evaluating, and writing policy that guides decision making.

The board meets monthly on the third Tuesday at 7PM and all members of the congregation are welcome to attend these meetings.
