The First Parish in Cambridge 2024 Community Auction is completely online and will run from Sunday, November 3, 2024, 8:00 a.m. through Sunday, November 24, 2024, 9:00 p.m. You’ll find an array of social events and guided walks, affordable flat-rate gatherings, vacation homes, personal services, gift certificates and more, all donated by generous First Parish members and friends.

Note on dinners: We appreciate the time, talent, and energy of those who are generously preparing homemade feasts for the auction. Please read descriptions carefully regarding dietary preferences and restrictions. If in doubt about whether particular needs/desires can be accommodated, contact the auction committee at auction@firstparishcambridge.org before bidding.

Creating an account

Our community auction is fully online at 32auctions.com.  If you don’t have an account from last year, you can create one at https://www.32auctions.com/users/new now so you’ll be ready to bid!

Flat-Rate (“Buy Now”) Items

Some auction items that have multiple winners are flat-rate (“Buy Now”) and are first-come-first-serve (example).  You’ll want to jump on these ASAP if you’re interested!

Biddable Items

There are two kinds of bids: exact bids, in which you enter the exact amount you want to bid, and proxy bids, in which you enter the highest amount you’re willing to pay with the goal of winning the item at the lowest possible price, and let the system bid on your behalf.

For biddable items with multiple winners (example), each “seat” is listed as a separate item. Note that the current bid price may be different among each item, so you’ll want to look through all of them for the one with the lowest current bid.

I Need Help!

The 32auctions.com site has an extensive FAQ that is likely to answer your questions.  If you aren’t able to find what you need there, you can contact the auction team by clicking on the “Contact Us” link that is prominently displayed in a box on the auction home page and on every item, or email auction@firstparishcambridge.org.  The auction team will also be available in the parlor after worship during the three Sundays it is running.
