Hear, Hear: A Sound Investment Depends on You!
Today, we are kicking off a special fundraising effort to make our parlor social hour more social -- a time when you will be able to hear what someone is saying to you! Many of us have struggled with the ambient noise levels in the parlor. The Building Advisory Committee and our consultants have developed a plan that will make a big improvement. The plan is to install noise reduction acoustic panels in the ceiling that have been proven effective in similar crowded gathering places. We need your help to cover the cost of this project as our recent chimney restoration project has tapped out our building funds for now. We don't think you want us to wait on this project! For a cost of $30,000 we can get sound reduction panels installed as early as this fall. If everyone pitches in what they can to make space for meaningful conversations in our social hour, we can do this! To Donate click on the button below and choose Parlor Noise Reduction Fund from the dropdown menu.
