Calm Amidst the Storm

It’s been a tumultuous summer—from an assassination attempt to extreme weather to dramatic political successions. And it’s not over yet! How do we remain calm and grounded in these turbulent times…so that we can find a promising way forward through the chaos?

The Pastoral Care Team of First Parish offers confidential and compassionate support to members of the congregation.

Caring for one another is a core spiritual practice for Unitarian Universalists. This can be in the forms of rides, meals, visits, information on resources, and conversation in time of need.

Welcome two new staff members on August 11. Our Lead Minister, Rev. Dr. Rob Hardies is excited to announce our two newest staff members:  Jen Hayman as Director of Music and Sophia Doescher as part-time Assistant Minister for Worship.
